Important Read this carefully before signing. This document gives the Client named below the right to use photos and videos of the Model, strictly within the terms agreed here.

Part B — What You Are Agreeing To

By signing this document, the Model agrees to allow the Client to use photos, videos, and recordings taken on the shoot date listed above, strictly within the scope defined in this document.

Part C — How the Photos Can Be Used

Part D — How Long Can They Be Used?

6 months from shoot date
1 year from shoot date
2 years from shoot date
3 years from shoot date
Indefinitely (no expiry)
Expiry Date (if applicable)
After the expiry date, the Client must stop using the photos unless a new release is signed.

Part E — What the Client Cannot Do

Regardless of what is agreed above, the Client agrees that they:

  1. Cannot sell or transfer these photos to another person or company without the Model's written permission.
  2. Cannot use the photos in a way that damages the Model's reputation or makes them look bad.
  3. Cannot use the photos to endorse a product, service, political party, or cause that was not agreed to in this document.
  4. Cannot alter the photos in ways that misrepresent the Model (e.g. digital manipulation beyond standard retouching, placing the Model in situations they were not in).
  5. Cannot use the photos after the expiry date stated above.
  6. Cannot use photos from this shoot that were NOT selected or approved for use.

Part F — Payment for This Release

This release is granted in exchange for:

Modeling fee already paid as part of the Booking Agreement
Additional usage fee (amount below)
Test shoot / TFP — no monetary payment; both parties receive portfolio photos
Additional Usage Fee Amount (₦)
If additional usage fees apply, they must be paid before photos are published or distributed.

This Model Release is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute shall first be resolved through negotiation, and if unresolved, through mediation or a Nigerian court of competent jurisdiction. This release forms part of and should be read alongside the Model Booking Agreement between the same parties.
